Responsibilities

Regional Director of Operations:

We are searching for a dynamic visionary with a hands-on entrepreneurial approach to propel our geographic reach as a Regional Director of Operations at Golden Steps ABA. This role will be the driving force behind Golden Step’s expanding mission of delivering exceptional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a new state or region.

Successful Directors of Operations are typically initiative takers who thrive on direct leadership to build out and grow our presence in a new area. You'll have the autonomy to shape strategies and implement systems that propel our growth while ensuring the highest standards of service for our patients.

A day in the life:

Regional Operational Leadership

  • Provide direct leadership, strategic guidance, and support to State Directors across an assigned region.
  • Conduct regular performance and development meetings with direct reports.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of company policies, SOPs, and operational initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for operational challenges.
  • Foster collaboration and share best practices across multiple state operations.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive regional performance through improved operational efficiency, staffing readiness, intake conversion, and service capacity.
  • Identify operational challenges and develop action plans to support growth.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and proactively address risks impacting operations.
  • Support expansion initiatives, including new clinic launches and resource planning.

Strategic Execution

  • Translate executive initiatives into actionable regional plans.
  • Lead implementation of new workflows, technology enhancements, and operational processes.
  • Measure adoption and effectiveness of new initiatives while continuously improving execution.
  • Partner with Clinical Operations and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation.

Data & Analytics

  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop dashboards and standardized reporting to provide actionable business insights.
  • Improve reporting processes through automation and workflow optimization.
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence, IT, and analytics teams to enhance operational visibility.

Cross-Functional Partnership

Maintain close, cross-functional alignment with core corporate departments including: Talent Acquisition, Intake, Staffing, Clinical Operations, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Credentialing, Finance, and Business Intelligence.

Ensure operational alignment across all departments to improve speed-to-market, corporate communication, and overall execution velocity.

Leadership Development

  • Coach and mentor State Directors to strengthen leadership, accountability, and decision-making.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Support succession planning and leadership development across the region.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher strongly preferred.
